About
I grew up in Western Australia and spent my early childhood on a dairy farm. I began to write short stories in primary school that had clever titles but not-so-clever endings.
After finishing school, I went on to study English and education, and earnt my living as a speech and drama teacher and storytelling fairy.
I’ve also worked as a professional actor and have been seen on TV in the roles of a nurse, a marine biologist, a mother being attacked by a dingo and a train passenger watching a man chasing a chicken. Don’t ask.
I now work as a writer and editor from my home in beautiful country Victoria, Australia, where I live with my family and two attention-seeking Burmese cats named Bingley and Bess. I love to bake, embroider, practise yoga and occasionally play very bad cello.
